Don't know if I am allowed to post it here, but couldn't find another topic where I can post this. Or if I am allowed to post it somewhere else.
So replace it if it isn't good. Sorry in advance!
But what I was thinking.

1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse for sale in New York, NY (ZIP code: 10001)

Saw this Eclipse GSX on the internet.
But I think something isn't ok.
Since I checked out internet for Eclipse's lot of times and this is like an amazing price.
But something isn't feeling ok.
Price he askes is $2300, has only 63.800 miles on it.
So on the internet decent Eclipse's are like 8 to 10k.
Up to 15k for an amazing one. With or without mods.
So something ain't right in my opinion.

Looks quite good in the pictures but pictures don't show all.
Also, haven't messaged the seller yet cause they can lie and hide things.
Just wanted advice if I was right about this or that I must message the seller or be a little less cautious.

Since if I am gonna buy it, it needs to be shipped to Europe.
And I don't want to buy a car which can have lots of problems.
Cause then the parts can become real expensive if I have to order them from America only hahaha.

I prefer a more expensive Eclipse which I know it's in good shape with history etc etc. But was just wondering.
So what do you DSM die hards feel about this?

Greetz,

Kevin

No, something has to be wrong with hit. No way it would be that cheap in that good of shape and still have all four wheels, rear engine etc. Also, be wary of any modded cars. If the car is complete and he's selling it that cheap, than more than likely he's cover something up. This is all my opinion of course, but if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Car looks to be in good shape, looks like it has some mods done, but he doesn't say anything about mechanical condition from the quick browse I gave the post. Call and find out, at last nights meet here in SD a dude got his 2g GSX, clean looking with 100k for 1,500... So good deals do show up. Good luck if something does come of it, I'm sure shipping to Europe can't be cheap.

How did I miss that!!! HahaROFL

LOOLLLOOOL I know ahahah saw it later on too.
But wasn't the main purpose of me.
Just wanted to know if there's a chance of being fooled or if it's an amazing chance.
Since it's for sale that long I think he is already away or seriously something wrong with it.

@ all post thnx a lot! :D
Body looks in good shape indeed, so does the engine bay.
Think I saw a small dent in the front bumper but no signs of damage of whatsoever.

So now I know there are some nice deals at the internet.

LOL...that car is still for sale? I gotta side with spawnedx and point out that this ad is a year and a half old

That could be a scam or the car could have a salvage title or it could be hot. Most times if it seems too good to be true, it is just that.

I don't really know if it's still for sale.
But usually they are deleted if they're sold so I was just wondering.

Yeah that was my first intention too.
But it has bothered me quite some time now.
What if it's in good shape hahaha LOL

Yeh that's what I thought so too.
Hahaha funny how you write it but it's true though.
U'll never know if it's true.

@ SD99GST

True I am always cautious at (small) pre modded cars.
And shipment to Europe will be like a total of 1000 Euros/1500 USD.
Can be a little more or a little less.
