So... I took the head off and found some surprises... The pics say it all: Good thing my FP cams are already on the way because, if you notice, my current ones are pitted.

The previous owner put the timing cover on with an impact and one of the bolts cut 1/2 through the plastic. Not to mention all the oil around the Front Main Seal.... guess I gotta replace that while the timing belt is off. The FMIC pic I took minutes after I cut the grill out. I like it and that's all that matters.

If so, i would inspect your rockers before you put in the new cams. Dont want to hurt fresh new parts.
