Some Advice would be helpful

Ok guys...maybe a month or so ago I posted up advice about what to do with my crankwalked 7 bolt. I got alot of sound advise and I thank you for that. I have a 7bolt 2.1 De-Stroked motor that fits my style of driving and I really don't want to change that setup.
I overheated the block and got it fixed and then upgraded the turbo since my motor was way to much for the old turbo causing surging.
Now I literately had a 99 Spider RS motor w/split thrust bearings fall into my lap.

Now here's the question.

In theory I should be able to bolt up the stock Spider to my built head and put the turbo that was causing the surging and tone it down to about maybe 15-18 psi boost and that should work???... Right???


Right now I'm going for a Daily Driver just to get me thru the training course I'm attending. After I get hired I'll take it up to English Racing and let Lucas work his magic to attain the horsepower it's capable of producing.

Let me hear your thoughts on this idea please...

it should fit but check your throttle body gasket that could also be the cause of the idle surg but if its the turbo i would think about rebuilding the turbo or getting a new one there could be something about to seriously go wrong with it idk though i had alot of the same issues with my 91 laser i just sold before i deployed i hope this helps
