Soft clutch on start up

The clutch is soft on start up but once warm it is back to right hieght and stiff again.

Gravity or vacuum bleed the clutch system to all the fluid is clean. If it's still soft then check for leaks. If no leaks it's the seals inside the master cylinder.

DISASSEMBLY
Follow disassembly steps outlined in illustration.

INSPECTION:
1. Check the inside cylinder body for rust or scars.
2. Check the piston cup for wear or deformation.
3. Check the piston for rust or scars.
4. Check the clutch pipe connection for clogging.

ASSEMBLY
Assembly in reverse order as Disassembly.

NOTE: Set the length of the push rod assembly to the shown dimension to make the adjustment of the clutch pedal easier.

So you recommend me rebuilding instead of just getting it warrantied?

No. Warranty it out till you get a good one if all other bleeding/testing fails. But if you switch out 5 with the same issue, then yes.
Was this a problem before installing the new master cylinder?

I had the same situation before, services changed a new MC for me.
problem solved.

Swap out the clutch fluid
Get all that gunk out of there
