SHE LIVES!!! after a grueling 24.5 hours of working open heart surgery on my anne with surge, she lives! MUAHAHAHAHAHA.....td-06 20g....750 injectors, fresh head....its all GEE DOUBLE O DEE GOOD!

One problem....the effin inlet of the oil feed line spits oil....does anyone know if a 20g has a different size inlet for the oil feed line? other than that...get rdy for some auto action!

Not to be stupidly obvious, but did you remember the copper washers on the fitting bolt? I left them off when I hooked up the 16G, and got oil everywhere.

i got a slight problem i need a new head gasket. i have a cometic one in my trunk fresh in plastic. what else would i need to do this job? i had a B$@%@ with the Grade over here in Camarillo. i was almost at over heat status. not good.

it took me and surge about 26 hours total to finish the swap of my head...

off the top I can think of you'll need:

mechanics tool set, mainly a breaker bar, palm size wratchet, flex extensions, a 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 14mm, 17mm, 19mm, 22mm, heavy duty wratchet, 4 jack stands, a jack, 5 qts of oil, new oil filter, new belts, new head gasket, intake manifold gasket, exhaust housing gasket, thermostat gaskets, coolant, new head studs, tire iron, flat head screwdriver, pry bar or something to detach the head from the gasket and intake because its a PITA, new spark wires, plugs....


To do a head gasket swap you are pretty much removing the whole damn motor...

So expect to spend about $260 in just parts, and I hope you have plenty of FU**'s, DAMN's, SH1T's, punches, kicks, cuts, or any bodily damage available...

We're supposed to be at Autobacs at 12, so shoot to arrive at KK around 10:30-11:00 so we can hang out a little, then leave around 11:30ish.
