Yeah... the 'Put the FUN back in Funeral' plate was originally given as a present when I had an old Toyota truck that I'd go offroading in... never put it on and lost it. Just found it again last month.

I was really not too impressed with this meet. It just doesn't have the feel of DSM meet like it used too. I mean sure there were a lot of DSMers there but I think there was a lot of immaturity. When have we ever had a problem with cops before? NEVER! If you wanted to show off how fast your car could be then let’s meet at a track next time. I know some of you are going to agree with me and some of you won’t but looking back at some of the stuff that happened it makes sense. We were no better then some of those ricer Honda guys driving by Autobacs.

I agree. It wasn't nearly as organized as they usually are, and I agree that it didnt have the same feel as the usual meets. We were getting really spread out and lost on the streets, forcing people to rush to catch up to a few DSMs they might have spotted ahead, leaving even more people lost behind them and stuck at red lights. We need a better area to meet up. One with less people in the area, and a more open parking lot. PCH isn't such a bad place to cruise, because it has few stoplights, it's pretty wide, and if some DSMers get stuck at a light, we could pull over for a second. A busy street (such as Beach Blvd.) is too crowded for 45+ cars to stick together. I say we stick to freeways or PCH if we want to stay in a group. We could cruise to another location, that place at the September 04 meet was good, i think it was Crystal Cove (where we filmed all the DSMs leaving the parking lot). Next meet, we need to have a definite plan posted here before the meet, then before we leave to the cruise, tell everyone the exact plan again, what to do if you get behind or ahead in the group or stuck at a light etc. It's not hard to make these meets a LOT better.Still, it was fun seeing everyone again, and there were a bunch of new guys too. Just my $0.02.

oooh yea and im the one with the 4DYY license plate that was behind you, and the espiler sounds really good man, and loud too for having a cat and all hehe. i honestly had a good time seeing everyone and meeting a bunch of new people that share the same passion, a little bit of organization would have been better, but i think the crowded setting was probably the first thing that started the disorganization. well learn for next time, because there definitely will be...i hope...and i need to get a camera. funnest part is seeing how different peoples cars evolve

I thought it turned out nice except for the Police showing.
Def. need to find a wider and less crowded area to travel along.
Crystal Cove is an awesome idea something wide with not alot of stop signals.

Also, here is my .02 maybe people should invest in some walkie talkies. they are like 20-30 bucks. mine work great and are good for such large amounts of people cruising.

I think the problem with the cops was because we ended up in Huntingon Beach, which from my understanding, has some of the worst cops in OC (i'm no local, so I dunno, just what i've heard from friends and my lady), but honestly, I didn't really see a problem. I don't remember them actually hassling anyone, aside from dirty looks, but you have to remember that a pack of tuner cars to them = trouble, dsm or honda, doesn't matter... plus HB is always crowded on weekends so that made it a bad location cops or not IMO. As far as 50+ cars staying together in that traffic.. c'mon.. that was not even a possibility. I liked going to Autobacs since it was my first time going there, but next time, a less crowded place would be nice. Although, that's hard to find in SoCal on a saturday.

Personally, i'd like to have a meet at a track or something sometime, do some actual driving (of course, i'd have to fix my oil leak first)(road or drag, doesn't matter to me)
