SoCal DSM Meet February 25th!!!

Owned. Arash15--Your turbo is LOUD! You were just driving away and it sounded like one of those turbo diesel trucks but 2x louder and more of a whine sound. Sounded awesome. Also, for those of you who say it wasn't disorganized, you havent been to another SoCal meet. We've had some GREAT meets. Not to say this one wasn't great, but the January 05 one was better IMO. Rob passed out maps of the route and everything.

Were there 60+ cars at the other meets? I have been to one other, and it seemed more organized, but it also had half the number of people show up. I wish I could've gone to the canyon meets you guys had a while back, that was probably fun.

There were 45 or so DSMs and 6 Evos at the January meet. Where are you guys getting 60+ DSMs at this meet? I thought there were more like 40-50. Either way a lot

Anyways. I wasn't their when the cops showed up, had to leave before that. The only fast driving I saw was trying to stick together in traffic on beach, and causing the residential double-parking traffic jam which looked kinda cool.

I wanted to see more 1Gs. My friend with a 1G was suppose to come with, but changed his mind. That would make a total of 3 if he showed up? Maybe we can invite people with 4G63 turbo's in cars also.

We can actually rent out Streets Of Willow if we pool are money together. California speedway can lend us their auto-x parking lot just for us if we have the same amount show up.

This was my first DSM meet. I think we were all surprised by how many people showed up. Judging by the previous post on this thread on people counting on the list being cut in half to who showed up. It was cool driving alongside other DSM guys. Also I kinda want to test out Beau's megan suspension and compare it with mine.


Cops will do their job. Red lights are their for a reason. DSMs will always break.

Don't know if I'll have new tires by then. The day after the meet my friends and I did a little autocross session and I am not almost all bald. If you have leather seats, they should be changed out. Changing the seat helped more than changing my harness. I am down for the road course thing. Or whatever gets me driving.

yea im starting to realize the funnier meets have been the smaller one like the small BJs meet we had 15 DSM we all just ate at BJs and talked as a group and went to the beach no popo showed up. I guess i will throw a Canyon Cruise Meet/Dyno day (if Matan is down with that) in april. Cruise from SFV all the way to Palmdale can u say 40+ miles of twisties

On topic again, a Streets meet would be great. Long as you have a few extra quarts of oil and a helmet, doesnt matter how fast or slow you drive as long as you're having fun. The guys who run the event, usually Willow Springs staff, make sure everyone's in a group they're comfortable with. AutoX would be fun too. Anything with turns and no police interferrence.

And was a great meet either way, so thanks GSTOMPN for setting it up!
