Was (or IS, I guess) there ever a 2g Spyder wind deflector available? Meh, I made one for about $40 from junk I got from the hardware store. Tested it out tonight on a cool evening with the top down and windows up. Works AMAZING! Yeah, I know...looks like I made it with junk from the hardware store. I'm not done yet...but it ain't gonna look TOO much better.

It's attached in such a way that it leaves no permanent holes or anything. I used existing attachment points

Yeah what he said, or use it simply as a learning experience and now that you know it works pour a little more effort into another and see how good you can make it look.
 
I've always wondered if those would be beneficial in our Spyders. Thanks for fabricating, testing and telling us about it. We may try something similar, if you don't discover a huge downside. I would be interested in seeing your existing attachment points.
