ok when i got the car it was smoking alot so i replaced the stock turbo with an big 16g b/c there was alot of play in the old turbo so i thought that was the problem but that didn't fix it so it only smokes when i sit at a light and and also when i down shift so someone told me it's propably the valve stem seals so i replaced those yesterday and still no luck it's still smoking what else can it be i got a big 16g with a greddy front mount intercooler could it smoke if i got a leak in the excaust system i thing the seal between the o2 housing and the downpipe is bad anyone can help i am open for anything

Rings or headgasket. If the compression test gives lower than 140ish anywhere, your rings are the likely culprit. A good compression number on a 8.5:1 (stock 2G CR) 4G63 is about 170. If two adjacent cylinders read low, its the headgasket. If any one cylinder reads less than 75-80% of the rest or you get an average of less than 150 then you need to rebuild anyway.

i checked the oil drain tube thought the same thing so i got the ExtremePSI oil drain tube just in case when i replaced the turbo no luck still the same problem also i checked my compression today from left to right i got 160, 150, 130, 150 i don't think thats good that was with the engine being warmed up

having the compression that far off isnt good eather i think it is only good to be 5 to 10 percent off could be your head gasket. is there any water or anything coming out of the exhaust oild look like a milkshake or oil in the coolant lines? and check if your oxygens sensors are connected or evan working could be that your fuel air ratio is way off

oxygens sensors are brand new no water in oil going to check the coolant tomorrow but i believe it's the piston rings i am going to probably order a rebuild engine from Overbore there claim to have a 2nd gen 7bolt motor there fixed the crankwalk on and give a lifetime warrenty

It's your choice, but if it was me I'd try to not buy another engine. The warranty is a nice bonus but if you have a little patience and are willing to get your hands dirty you can save a lot of money by rebuilding your current engine.

You'd need the cylinders honed and deck surfaced, but otherwise you'd really only need a new set of rings, headstuds, valve cover gasket and a headgasket unless you want the extra peace of mind of new bearings, pistons, mainstuds and a BSEK. Either way, you'd likely spend a good bit less.

yeah i would do it myself but the problem is i can't have the car down to long it's my daily driver
