smoking problem if idel long

my car if it sits and idels more than a minute or so will blow out a big cloud of smoke once i start driving but as long as it doesnt sit and idel it wont blow out smoke?

I once had a 90 Laser Turbo that did the same thing. In spite of the huge smoke cloud, after long idle, spark plugs were perfectly clean. I assumed that it was caused by leaking turbo seals. For some reason, it actually got better and began to smoke less. Never did actually fix it. Finally sold it and got a 91 Talon AWD.

It's probably the valve stem seals.
