I work for a LPG company. Our bulk trucks run on lp the down side is it hard on a motor. You need to rebuild the motor to withstand the heat. And on cold mornings you got to warm up for at least a half hour before driving. Lp boils at 44 below so the run coolant line through it to keep it from freezing up. So if you just start up and go it will freeze the regulator up. I have though about doing it. Lpg does have a higher octane than gas. I believe its 100.
