1G SMIM + 16g?

Ok I found a bad ass deal, a magunus street smim for 150, ok right now im running a evolll 16g on e85,, stock block and head except since hks 272 cams, and full turbo back exhaust, my question is this, would iloose alot of power running this manifold? Inn gonna run around 30psi and the biggest turbo ill ###### go with is a 20g.

What should I do?

Buy it you can always sell it for more money.

Just save up for a front mount.

Got a front mount , just havent installed it, the reason the manifold is cheap is cause it blew some welds, but is getting fixed before I get it, since the guy parted his gvr4

I was running a 16g with a front mount and 274's got the smim and lost some down low power cruising but picked up 2 lbs/min of airflow up top. Good for racing I can vouch for that just really depends on what your overall goal is.

Was the loss really noticeable? Or should I say was the gain you felt up top worth it?

The loss was noticeable for me due to the fact I have a long piping kit from my f.m.i.c.It wasn't so drastic that I hated it just like ok lost some down low power and gas mileage went up due to the fact not in boost as quick. Now the gain up top to me was worth it I have mine set-up for drag racing but since the price you say $150 and it's something you are eventually gonna want on the car for more performance I would say worth it. The low-end mid-range get's hurt I have never been to a dyno just going off numbers from ecmlink. but from 4k up to 9k holy batman. There was a def. performance gain plus with the cams it will benefit more. But the next thing on your buy list should be a f.m.i.c.
