SMIC Piping?

Got the 99 eclipse GS-T. This is about the only hard piping I could find for the stock intercooler due to me not planning on upgrading the turbo. Is this kit everything I will need? Does it look right?

all i did for my 95's smic was use some hard piping i had laying around and it made a huge upgrade compared to the stock rubber hosing.. but it did add alot of couplers .

^ that's what I would say, but a lot more couplers could lead to a lot more chances of a boost leak.

it caused a few but ive gotten them fixed.. the main one i had problems with was at the turbo itself the angle is a little off.

and sorry got off topic but for 280 total you could just do like i did and spend like 20 bucks on tbolts ...

I would say they're fine, but I mean I would only be looking for a uicp just to replace the cheap plastic bov. I'd replace it with a 1g bov. The lip is fine and I don't think you should change it unless it is cracked or has a hole. If not, it should be fine. Should save you some money, especially if you don't plan to change anything else. If you get a different turbo, then you would have to get new ic pipes anyway, so why spend money now then maybe down the road agan. But it's up to you, the ic pipes you posted aren't bad. I have a uicp like that and stock licp, just for reference.

I personally have the greddy. its a little high side in cost. but well worth it. the upper hard pipe alone is a big plus over stock . I had my cut and flanged for hks bov . The boost response is big and getting rid of the junk stock bov is a great idea.

There are kits identical to that punishment racing kit all over eBay for considerably less.

I got my hard pipes off ebay for something like 90 bucks. Nice shiny aluminum, good silicone couplers,, shiny clamps. Fit very well, especially considering the large diameter and the fact that they go exactly the stock route. A bit of a pain to install, because the fit is so exact and everything has to line up just right.
