Ok i recieved my 1g bov and it has the 1g pipe and flange. I was just going to add the bov but now im thinking of upgrading all the pipes too. is there a kit to replace all the pipes in a stock 2g car? i plan on keeping the stock smic for a wile. Id like to get a kit already made for the car but i was looking at something like a universal kit on ebay

A quick search on Ebay and I came up with this. Looks like a good deal, and you can get the 1g BOV flange for the pipes too.

How exactly could a intercooler piping kit ruin a car?

Most cases, ebay is fine for this type of purchase. You may have to do some minor fabrication to make everything fit perfectly, but it should be ok.

thanks, well i was looking at those universal kits. has anyone built a kit them selves from like autozone homedepot parts ect?

I think with a 45* bend and a 90* bend you can get it done. You might need a little straight pipe depending on the lengths of the bends... and some couplers.

Home-made pipes is probably the cheapest way to get it done, but you'll have to get couplers as well as clamps for them. The piping kits usually come with pipes, couplers, and T-bolt clamps, it's much less of a hassle to get a piping kit, but it's not tough to get everything you need.
