SMIC Hard piping for HKS SSQV?

Need to know what companies make hard style SMIC piping for a 96 GST with stock turbo and stock SMIC with a HKS SSQV sytle BOV??????

Please give me the companies that make for this specifically and if you could also give me the places that give the best deal.

You don't need specific piping for the HKS blow of valve. For upper intercooler pipes, look around at all the known DSM parts manufactures such as SlowBoyRacing, Road/Race Engineering, Buschur Racing, etc etc. Then, all you need to get is the blow off valve and the seperate flange. If I were you thougn I would look into maybe the Greddy Type S or simplier a 1G BOV ; for those applications most companies have their pipes pre-flanged for them.

For Various pricing, I recommend you click on the parts catalog section of the site. There you can get an idea of the various pricing for the pipes. Depending on the company, it can run you anywhere from $1oo or so, to Greddy's full pipe kit at around $250. Then after you find the right pipes, you'll have to purchase the $250 BOV you want and then $15-30 for the special flange to hook it up to.

ok i must not of made myself clear. I already have the HKS SSQV. I am not going to get anything else. Explain how that f;ange I have now will seal into hard metel. Currently it is rubber and that speaks for itself.

does anyone out there carry any used stuff for cheap, this is so ridiculously expensive.........if anyone has a freind or anyone they know that is selling a hard pipe kit for a 96 eclipse gst totally stock with the flange for a HKS SSQV BOV please give me the heads up.

good luck finding that due to the fact most DSMs use either the 1st gen BOV or the Greddy Type S. The HKS is real hard to recirculate. Plus its an expensive BOV and you are complaining about the pipes? Id recommend DejonTool for the pipe.

Welcome to the world of modifying a car my friend. It is not cheap. Consider youself lucky that you aren't buying parts for some other cars....we have it pretty good.


Many companies sell metal upper intercooler pipes. Buy whatever you want and have your metal flange welded on instead of whatever flange comes on the pipe. Shop used for a buschur pipe, RRE pipe, Dejon pipe, etc. You are making things mroe complicated than they need be.
