The slowest car I raced was 18.1 in the 1/4 it was a stock nissan pulsar 2000. But the slowest and funnyest race I have ever seen would have to be ATV 4 wheelers I saw run at the track with a 1/4 mile time of 27 sec's :laugh:

my friend and i were in a '92 camry (4cyl) and we rolled up next to some grungy-ass looking guy in a green geo metro with flame stickers on the side, his donuts were maybe 2-3 inches thick. we looked over and kinda nodded at him. green light. the guy's front tires make the cutest little squeak id ever heard and he takes off.... oh my god, funniest thing ive seen in a loooooong time :laugh:

Slowest race I had ever seen, was my friend 88 Firebird 2.8 v6 automatic, vs another friends Fiero 4cylinder, Firebird just barely beat the fiero. The fiero's motor was so low on compression you could push it while it was in gear, . Went to the track with the Firebird owner, and she ran a 21.5 @62 mphs, Her dads a big Muscle car guy, Hate import kinda person, so they had this huge plan to put a V8 in her car, to attempt to beat my car over the course of last winter. They put a 305 v8 with some chrome goodies, header exhuast, sounded very nice, She ran a best of 16.8 at like 84mph, . Was hilarious..

Slowest vehicle I personally drove was a '79 Chevy Scottsdale full size pickup. It had a 350ci engine and I don't think the secondaries ever opened on the carburetor. I timed it once on some country backroads just to see just how slow it really was. It ran a 24 second quarter (roughly).

at grove creek last fall i saw a 96 3000gt sl [riced out] run a civic dx. the gt pulled a 16.9 and lost to the dx with a 16.6. :laugh:

Heh, slowest car I ran against was my friend '96 civic....he actually thought he was gonna win against my '92 Laser Rs, perfectly stock. I let him get 2 car lenghts ahead before actually pulling on him, it was great.... all in fun though

slowest car i ever raced against was a ford exursion. the crazy soccer mom thought i was going to let her cut me off! hahahah! we floored it, and lets say that even though she had turbo and 2.5 times the cylinders, the 4g63/t25 prevailed and i conquered the enormous ford.

are you saying I should have used my extreme excretory forces to propell myself past her while spraying the road, the cars behind me, and the enormous ford with a dump? That would be histerical. Anyone that can provide a video of such a thing will be my hero.

my high school auto class ran a 70's 4 cyl mustang with just the oil in the filter(we pulled the plug and drained it and put it back in) it ran a 28 something. speacial affects were cool though

sorry to bring this thread back but i just saw that and had to blow my own horn. definitely not 27 secs...bout a 6.5 1/8th at around 100mph. dont mind the rust and mismatched plastic

this is a funny 1..... i was driving and in front of me was a 04 STI and an older maxima with an exhaust..... the maxima took him.... wow wen i talked to the guy in the STI at the light i was messin around with him n asked him to race the GST.... the only thing he sed was.... "i lost to a maxima with exhaust....." im only 16 n he was like 19, n i know how to drive better then him....

slowest race i have seen was a 350z vs a mid 90s prelude with headers only. the z crossed at low 15, smokin!! my buddy has it on video, the prelude is loud as a hell my buddy got pissed cause it took the prelude so long and shut the camera off. It was probably a 22sec run

there's a guy on here (purpleesi) i raced, he has a 95 tsi awd.......after we launched it just seemed like he stoped. oh wait! he did stop.....he blew out his center diff!!!! and then after i fixed it for him and we had a rematch (and he thought he was going to smoke me) i still spanked him ( eh kyle?... )

I guy actually brought a van to the track. i think it was AWD too. i didnt see him run but his dial in time was 22.0.
