But I gave Mike Huml a ring, and we chatted for a bit, I told him my story, he was very sympathetic and sounded like a nice guy. I bought a plain-jane 16G.
I'd like to acknowledge Mike's high level of customer service.. even before I was a customer of his (i.e. personal e-mails re: product advice).

) Well that won't happen here, I will continue to delete any posts of anyone breaking the rules by vendor bashing.
I'm not one to argue..................but then there should be a non "shameless plug" rule as well. No offense to the thread starter, but he seems to be "blowing his own horn". And if people can't respond with their own experiences with the company, then NO ONE should be able to respond (positive OR negative). This is like me putting up a thread that I'm a great guy, and would never #### anyone over, whereas I may have screwed 100 people over, but their voices will never be heard cause you'll delete them.Originally posted by L2RTSiAWD
Some people are trying to bash SBR just to get the thread locked (you know who you are) Well that won't happen here, I will continue to delete any posts of anyone breaking the rules by vendor bashing.
If you can't read rule #2 and continue to try and bash in this thread it's the last time you will post.

It's goes overboard when people make it their job to bash certain vendors in every thread that has any mention of that vendor.
I see why you guys do it, but good experiences don't always equal the whole situation. I would honestly suggest that there be NO vendor "rating" posts. Because if you can't see both sides of the coin, then everyone would be happy with everyone. And we all know that's not what happens.Originally posted by L2RTSiAWD
Exactly, my point.
I can see both sides of it, but you have to understand that we only allow people to post their "good" experiences.
Either way if people can't handle that I will advise to chris that no vendor posts be allowed.

I can kinda understand since it was Christmas season and it was a very time consuming head... but still if it was done.... Oh well... coulda been worse.Originally posted by TRBOTSI

I have nothing against people expressing their opinions and experiences but a certain someone just takes it too far and doesn't know when to move on. L2R did the right thing and I commend him on it.

One of the main reason we don't allow negative posts is because more than with positive feedback people tend to "make up" experiences just becasue they personally do not like someone or some company most positive experiences are real stories.

You cant be serious. Do you think anyone actually cares enough about any of this Internet bullshit to *makeup* fake stories because they dont like a vender? Do you think we really care that much? No one gives a shit about slowboy racing or any other venders.
People care about spending their money on quality products. People care about not being dicked and sold crap parts and services. When that doesn't happen. People tend to try to prevent others from having that same experience.
This is part of what being a community is about. Sharing experiences good and bad so people know what to expect. A bad experience is no more made up then a good one. Do you honestly think venders dont send their cheerleaders into message boards to hype products and services?
Personally I dont give a shit about liking or disliking slowboy. I dont have any of their stuff on my car, and never will. I care about the guy's that dont know about the horrible stories.
I care about the countless people that have been screwed over including myself. 3,4,5 months is not an expectable period of time to wait on parts. When the industry standard from real shops is a couple weeks at the most. If all these stories are fake why are they limited to only 1 or 2 shops? You can delete my post all day we all know what thats about

Take care.
