New shops great. All kinds of goodies I can put my grubby little hands on. Their open long enough I can make it up before they close, so they don`t have to wipe my face prints off the front glass. PR is good, just trying to get ahold of Mike is a little difficult. ("He just stepped out.") Got the local guys here to buy stuff off ya` even though I couldn`t.
Keep up the good work.

To SBR,

Any biz that has that kind of jump in growth is bound to have heavy growing pains.

Keep up the good work.

I keep trying to order from you guys but my plans always end up changing. But I promise to order my Greddy EGT and dual pod from you as soon as I can get the money. Good luck.

SBR kicks!
I bought a set of Spark Plugs for my car off Ebay. Found it was SBR that was the sellar. Got my plugs in a quick manner and that has been the limit of my SBR Purchases.
Then come X-Mas time I get a card from SBR signed by all. That really made me think. They give a rats arse about who their customers are. I have ordered from various other DSM vendars and nothing like this has happened. I work in marketing and such and that was a very smart move. You still can't beat the responce you get back from a standard mailer. I now look at SBR right away when I need something to see if they got it and how much. Unfortuneately, -35 and continual snowfall keeps me from doing anything.

SBR keep it up and the best of luck to you. Look for some orders from me this spring.

There service is the best :thumb:

This was the first time someone actually over-estimated the time it would take them to get a part they didn't have in stock. I'm glad to see that honesty paid off.

I got my parts faster than expected OMG

SBR is awesome.......my first ever big (well big to me) parts order was from them and the responses in email i got were awesome. Mike has responded to every email i have sent and really fast. If i was him id be annoyed by now =). Maybe next year after i order my turbo ill be on the xmas card list LOL ..:D

I had a very good experience with SBR. It was quite some time ago. My 14b had blown, and I got ripped off on the trader :( But I gave Mike Huml a ring, and we chatted for a bit, I told him my story, he was very sympathetic and sounded like a nice guy. I bought a plain-jane 16G.

Everything arrived in short order.

-Jesse

Though I didnt' make the XMas card list this year  I'd like to acknowledge Mike's high level of customer service.. even before I was a customer of his (i.e. personal e-mails re: product advice).

I'm glad to see SBR hasn't let this lag behind in their growth as Customer Service is how I identify SBR :thumb:

Yeah you guys a SBR are great!

Your actually currently building me a new motor. Check your records 6 Bolt with Ross pistons and Mark sealed the deal!

thankx again. :D

SBR gets a big :thumb:

only business I had Mike do was fix my t25 which he said wouldnt last over 1k miles.... HAHA mike its goin strong after 3k miles!!

but as soon as I pick up my 1g i will be making the trip down from williamsport for business.

Mike went out of his way to let us borrow a battery to get to freeport to finish up a turbo install on twenty5psi's car. You think a place like autozone would do that??? HELL NO

Some people are trying to bash SBR just to get the thread locked (you know who you are  ) Well that won't happen here, I will continue to delete any posts of anyone breaking the rules by vendor bashing.

If you can't read rule #2 and continue to try and bash in this thread it's the last time you will post.

I don't know bout the rest of you , but slow boy racing has some of the to-die-for prices for dsms. I've ordered several parts from them through my friends credit card, Most of my stuff that's going for my engine rebuild in spring is being bought from slowboy racing, I even called the place up recently to echange the 7 bolt eagle rods for 6 bolts, the guy said no problem all ya have to do is send us the 7 bolts and well send yo back the 6 bolts :thumb: . Slow boy is a great franchise! Might i add one suggestion to you guys, I see that you have the stock vavles for sale and the oil lifters, would you guys be able to start selling replacemnt rockers for the head anytime soon?

do you guys have a site by chance?

*edit*

nvm I found it

why did you delete that site? there was NO bashing whatsoever, it was a real life account for what happened and that does not break any rules at all

its gotten to where we cant even tell what happened in our own experience? :thumbdown :thumbdown

I'm not one to argue..................but then there should be a non "shameless plug" rule as well. No offense to the thread starter, but he seems to be "blowing his own horn". And if people can't respond with their own experiences with the company, then NO ONE should be able to respond (positive OR negative). This is like me putting up a thread that I'm a great guy, and would never #### anyone over, whereas I may have screwed 100 people over, but their voices will never be heard cause you'll delete them.

Please understand this is NOT being argumentative, just a simple question to the fairness of making positive/negative posts. Thanks for your time. :)

It's goes overboard when people make it their job to bash certain vendors in every thread that has any mention of that vendor. I have nothing against people expressing their opinions and experiences but a certain someone just takes it too far and doesn't know when to move on. L2R did the right thing and I commend him on it.

Exactly, my point.

I can see both sides of it, but you have to understand that we only allow people to post their "good" experiences.

Either way if people can't handle that I will advise to chris that no vendor posts be allowed.

I see why you guys do it, but good experiences don't always equal the whole situation. I would honestly suggest that there be NO vendor "rating" posts. Because if you can't see both sides of the coin, then everyone would be happy with everyone. And we all know that's not what happens.

I understand that people who have a bad experience will bash vendors to the Nth degree. But I am the type of person (and I hope there are many others out there) who would defend a vendor to that same Nth degree. I'm all about giving good vendors a great ammount of word of mouth advertising, and at the same time, am the same sort who would give negative word of mouth for a negative experience.

Ditto... and I kept being told for 3 weeks that it was done and ready to ship... but that still took 3 weeks  I can kinda understand since it was Christmas season and it was a very time consuming head... but still if it was done.... Oh well... coulda been worse.

Anyway, from my other orders w/ SBR, I get my goodies right away. They are awesome, reasonably $$ and really cool to talk to on the phone.

They will definately be one of the first places I go for any future parts, them or FP.. Although I wanna know whats up w/ the Top Line OEM parts?? I usually hear those are crap?

I understand where you are coming from also marko.

One of the main reason we don't allow negative posts is because more than with positive feedback people tend to "make up" experiences just becasue they personally do not like someone or some company most positive experiences are real stories.

Also most people cannot tell a story about a bad experience without it turning into a situation where they end up saying #### these guys and having to resort to name calling and such when that's not needed. I don't mind having people post their good experiences on the site.

Bottom line if you want to post bad experiences do it at goodguybadguy not on this site.

You can’t be serious. Do you think anyone actually cares enough about any of this Internet bullshit to *makeup* fake stories because they don’t like a vender? Do you think we really care that much? No one gives a shit about slowboy racing or any other venders.

People care about spending their money on quality products. People care about not being dicked and sold crap parts and services. When that doesn't happen. People tend to try to prevent others from having that same experience.

This is part of what being a community is about. Sharing experiences good and bad so people know what to expect. A bad experience is no more made up then a good one. Do you honestly think venders don’t send their cheerleaders into message boards to hype products and services?

Personally I don’t give a shit about liking or disliking slowboy. I don’t have any of their stuff on my car, and never will. I care about the guy's that don’t know about the horrible stories.

I care about the countless people that have been screwed over including myself. 3,4,5 months is not an expectable period of time to wait on parts. When the industry standard from real shops is a couple weeks at the most. If all these stories are fake why are they limited to only 1 or 2 shops? You can delete my post all day we all know what thats about
:thumb:

Take care.
