okay so i think im having a problem building boost IM running a AGP rs49T@19psi on a mostly stock 2.0 4g63 with the internal gate. Now im not hitting 19psi till somewhere around 4800rpm or so and start building boost at around 3700rpm now i was under the impression that by 4k rpm i should arleady be at 19psi... Now i know i dont have an exhaust leak as i just redid 200miles ago with brand new oem gaskets/fasteners but i think my wastegate is to blame. when i grab the actuator arm it has alot of play 1/8-1/6". should i be able to move the arm that easily. I have my old t25 sittin in front of me and when i do the same thing with its actuator arm i cant move it at all. If this is indeed the problem how would i go about adjusting the arm. But i know something is definatly wrong because i got beat by 420A with a t25 at 6psi and i know a 4g63 at 19PSI should be a hell of a lot faster than that car. If there is anything you guys would like to know please ask i do have a logger and stuff. or if you want pics.

hope you can understand my ramblings as i am in a giant hurry to get this typed out before i take off for work.

Yea, there should be No play there if there is...your boost pressure will leak out of the wastegate flapper causing the problem you have.

Im not sure if your wastegate arm has the adjuster nut or not but if it does tighten that up if not, you can space it from the mounting bracket by putting washers between the Wg and where its mounted. That will pull it back some. GoodLuck.

Pics?

In this pic see the shaft ? the threads are about half way up from the flapper side and then you can see a sleve wiht a nut at the end ita about in the middle between the WG flapper and the end of the threads. You can tightn that up. Good luck
