Slot Port, how long?

I'm building a 2.5cu ft box after the sub and port displacement. I want it to be a slot port that is 1"x28.5" (H x W), but how long should it be? The box needs to be tuned to 35hz. Can someone explain how to figure this out, along with how much the port will displace?

Bit of advise thoug.... if you like the calculator save the entire page to your HD. the server it is on tends to crash evry once in a while.

I just finished building a box using WinISD (here ) You'll need to know the specs of your speaker(s) first, though.
