slight grinding/ratteling noice from trans maybe TOB.

Yesterday I started my car, it started just fine and sounded just fine. No lifter tick now that it's warm outside, but I still let it warm up. Once warm I heard a slight grind more like a rattle, I poked around with a long screw driver to see where the noise was comming from and it sounds like my tranny closer to the block.

The noise is their on idle in neutral and slightly more when I push the clutch in. I do believe it is my TOB but when I first got the car I put in a new clutch, TOB, rear main seal, ect. I resurfaced the fly wheel the best I could it was pritty worn. I mainly would like someone to help verify the TOB, I dont want to buy a new trans till next summer for my AWD swap. will be doing my head swap in 2 months as long as it is not a major malfuncions

so if anyone can let me know if their is a way to tell for sure that would be great. Could it be that the GST came with a 2 piece fly wheel for the starter ring, could that ring be loose?

I dont remember, it was 2 years ago. all parts was OEM. I did have a really bad rattle when I got the car, turned out to be the bolts on the starter plate was loose. Thats when I changed everything but the flywheel.

The noise then was a lot louder then now. This is slight,hen I rev to about 2.5k and when it decel that is when most noticeable, at idol it is their but got to listen for it. When I push the clutch in it is slightly more noticeable.
