I have a split in one of the bolt holes that hold the slave to the bellhousing, when you push the slave it causes the trans to move a little bit, I checked, all the bolts are in tight on the transmission.

What caused this?

Age?

All the bolts to the block are in, trust me.

It's cracked through one of the slave bolt holes on the bellhousing, this is causing the bellhousing to flex a little bit...

Just curious as to what caused it, I know I'm looking at a rebuild soon... again.

Scott, is there still enough material on the transmission slave cylinder bolt hole to weld over it and reinforce it? Otherwise, I have plenty of 1G bellhousings.
