This is not a joke everyone ......

Here is the deal I had a set of RMDSM sway bars. I sold them to ********* for 300$ installed.

He came over and me and my friend installed them on his car front and rear.....

He said he did not have the money and he would pay me later.....the next day or so we meet up and he only payed me half!!!!.....He said that he thought we agreed on 150$....

I told him it was 300 and ill install them......so i made another deal with him so he did not feel bad about his purchase..

I told him ill do some more work on his car anything he wanted for free...he said he wanted me to install his battery kill switch...i said ok no problem

He told me he would pay me on December the 1st which was Tuesday.......

I talked to him that day through text messages. and asked him what was going on and if we were gonna meet up that day....

No Reply.....and to this day still no answer from him.. he ignores me

I continue to text and call and email him everyday but no answer....All i want to know is what the deal is and were is the rest of my 150$ that he still owes me from the sway bars.......

WHAT SHOULD I DO......

Here are the pics that HE TOOK that day i installed the swaybars

I feel you man! You just can't take people's word these days. Like they say, "money talks and bullshit walks." I don't work on anyone's car anymore because of that exact same shit. You almost have to make up a written statement about the work being performed and the price the person is agreeing to pay and then have them sign it in order to be able to do anything legally to get your money. :notgood::mad:

quick story:

I had a "friend" which I had grown up with and known since the 3rd grade. Well, a few years after we graduated from high school, he calls me up out of the blue and says he is having a problem with his Pontiac GrandAm. Me being the person I used to be, (before I knew better) drove over to his house to check out his coolant leak. I diagnosed the car and end up bringing it over to my house where I performed the following:

Removed both cylinder heads and had them sent out to be checked for cracks/straightness etc.(one was cracked in three places)
I priced out and got his blessing to get another head and had the good one freshened up and he payed for the parts so we kept rolling.
I replaced both head gaskets and of course replaced the infamous 3.4L intake gaskets which caused the leak, which overheated the engine, which cracked one of the heads.
New plugs and wires and a fuel filter and it was running better than ever.

We agreed on something like four or five hundred dollars for the work I had done and I told him to come pick it up. When he comes to pick the car up, of course he only has $150 bucks "right now" because of the unexpected cost of the cylinder head. He said he would have the money in a couple weeks and I figured he was good for it and let him ride.:ohdamn:

Two weeks later I call him to see what's up. He says he just totalled his car on the freeway two days earlier and he might need receipts for the work I had just done to give to the insurance company for possible compensation. I say ok and get him his receipts and wait a couple more weeks. :| He says "I gotta get a new car right away, I need another week or two." I call in two weeks and get no answer. :notgood: I drive by his mommy and daddy's house where he stays and I see his new Honda sitting outside, but I get no call or no money I was promised. But I didn't throw anything at his new car. And I didn't call his parents home phone and bother them with his debt because I didn't want to have to stoop to that level. He left town about a week later and I haven't seen him since. (about six years)

I stayed at home, by myself on new years eve 2004 working on a "friends" car so he could have it back ASAP while my wife was somewhere else with my family and our 4-month old son, just so we could have some "extra money" which I never saw. :barf: I hope he had a fun new years eve with MY money.
Karma's a bi***;)
