Simple Question: Grounding Wires

Is it alright to ground multiple wires to the same part of the chassis. I'm asking this because i hooked two ground wires up to the same spot and my cd player (one of the grounds) is acting up.

It should not be a problem grounding one or more component to the same spot, providing both are making a good contact to ground. Think of your chasis as one big negative terminal. All ground wires are connected to the same spot.
