So I picked up a 1995 Eagle Talon awd in green from a fellow dsmer. So I thought to myself, if this guy is a dsmer than this project shouldn't be too bad.
WRONG, from what I thought was a simple project of fixing up the ECU wire cuts became more than that.
The entire radio wiring is cut up, none of the speakers are set up, many cheapo style of cutting up wires using a spade connect thing, and I think I might have a short somewhere in the engine compartment because the battery is dead after only a week.
The good part though is none of the wiring is solder, so at least it's easier to fix it.
Imagine everything was solder poorly.
At the end of fixing this mess I will become a master solder for wires
and I hope that 6 bolt swap and rebuilt transmission of his is not a mess, I hope he at least did something right.
There will be pictures soon, I forgot to bring a camera to where my car is located.
QOTD: How would you cover up the soldering? Electric tape? or that plastic melty thing?
