Silly question, but can I file a lawsuit?

Ok.
Here is the situation.
I have a criminal record because of a drag racing charge.
My friend drove today with suspended license and I was the passenger.
He got pulled over for running a yellow light. haha I know mad ### right?

Then they patted him down.
Next was me, you can say my nuts were fondled with from a female cop.

I told my friends the story that happened to me today and they said it is against the law for a female to do that to a man and vice versa.

my question is: Is this true?

Really its illegal for an officer male or female to fondle your nuts, but good luck proving that in court as far as being patted down by a female officer, that depends on the state your in. Check your local laws. By the way what is your complaint?

No they can not fondle you. But before you do anything, you might want to think about the newspapers, the internet, the news, and every one else that will get a hold of the story. It will probably stay in house. You can just make a formal complaint, and go from there.

You would probably be best off keeping your mouth shut, because for one, everyone is going to think your ###.

It's gonna be a hard case to prove. It's your testimony vs the cops. Since your friend got a ticket from the cop I would think it makes it more difficult for you to win the case since that could be a motive for fradulent behavior.

First of all she was ugly and can be mistaken for a men.
I keep pleasure and business seperate.
I got screwed with a drag racing ticket,
so I have a chance to get back and I am willing to take it.

Im glad you were punished for street racing. You shouldnt have been doing it in the first place. Oh and incase you havnt noticed...through history, every time someone tries to "get back" at the law, they lose horribly.

I disagree.
There were three officers there.
My friend was pulled over bya male officer.
My friend was patted down by a different male officer.
Then I was patted down by a female officer.

There was 2 other males there.
Why her?

You have a criminal record, your friend was driving with suspended license. Your courtroom credibility is pretty shot. Your chances of proving that in court are pretty slim.

When I said I got screwed, I was not street racing.
I went on a cruise with my friends to boston.
Eclipse Spyder, s2k, celica gts, and a bmw.
As we went home, we were pulled over doing 60 in a 65 zone.
500 Fine. tell me, is this drag racing?

sadly, in the world of Law, its not what you know, its what you can prove. Did they pull each one of you over? Fighting things in court that there is no physical evidence on basically is a war of credibility. Which is to say is rarely in John Q. Public's favor

I already paid my fine. It was a total of 585 and reduced to 100. This reduction cause me to also have a criminal record. It was complete bs because a witness was narrow minded and call the cops on us. Thats the past we got to move on. I have less than a month then I'll be back on the road and probab;y get F'ed over for driving a DSM.

First off why did you just pay the fine? Ever heard of a lawyer?

Second you just said "thats the past we got to move on" so why are you trying to get back at them?

Third grow up.

No screw that. You guys dont know how cops are around here. Even girl ones. If there a cop they will kill your grand ma and not even think twice. There strick stuck up and high on a power trip douches. I got pulled over for "passing in a no passing zone" when the car was 90% turned and i went left to go around it and she pulled me over and got in my face. Fight that shit take it to a lawyer and have him take a look at your case. It seems the newer cops are nicer its just the older ones suck. got pulled over for doing 80 and the cop told me fast car (hahaha it was N/T) looks nice now think what would you rather have more. A big tickit and no car or a kick in the ass from your dad for being home late. Hell he will probly kick you for getting a tickit your choice kid be safe bye. See thats good if i was doing 90 then yeh thats to far now. Good luck with what you do man.

Here are some words of wisdom. I used to get tickets all the time. I probably had ten by the time I was 17. I also used to drive like I wanted a ticket and I used to hang out with the whole car scene. These days I putz back and forth to work and drive my big SUV like the rest of the lemmings and guess what. I have not had a ticket in five years. You reap what you sew. Chill out and enjoy your cars responsibly. There is a time and a place for everything and every street racing ticket I have seen issued was warranted atleast 10 times over.

Could not of said it any better.

+rep for that

bah, where is a mod when you need one...send this one to the dumpster boys.

IMO, I think you're lying just like 90% of the people who take stuff to court. This is a huge pet peeve of mine... She was checking you for any weapons, as police officers have to do such a thing to help increase their chances for complete safety on the job. You even thinking of suing for that is complete BS. If you were a law obiding citizen you wouldn't have anything to worry about right now... And don't go telling me that women would sue a male cop for that had it happened, because I also believe that is BS and the sad thing is they probably would win.

Sorry if that makes me sound like an ass, but it's just my opinion. Good luck if you take it to court.

For one thing, I wouldn't be posting my motive on a public forum.

Next time, post non-tech threads in the hangout.
