Niagara,
I've been away from the forum for a while, I didnt know where else to post this, so here goes...

I'm in the process of doing a 97-99 eclipse conversion, I have installed the front and rear bumpers, and both headlights and tail lights. I've been trying to find 97-99 sides for the longest time now and my car is getting painted soon hopefully, I'd like people to make suggestions on aftermarket side skirts that will look good with the stock front and rear end. I'm looking for a set of side skirts that aren't too far from the stock set up, please post pics, or give me a link to where I can view the recommended sides. I'd like to stay away from ebay sides, but if it comes down to it, I might just suck it up and buy them. Please post your opinions, and back it up with pictures if you can. As I said before, I'd like to get sides that are simple so it doesn't change the "stock" exterior of the car. Thanks in advance for the help. Sorry if this is not posted in the correct forum.

Cheers

srry to reference ebay in the first reply, but a stlye i like that looks pretty close to stock but a little jazzier are the combat sides for the 2gs. search for like " eclipse kombat" or "combat" on ebay,,, both work.

 i just cant beleive your doin a conversion. but to each his own. im thinking maybe the 'low' blitz skirts? not too fancy.

I don't know why you'd convert either, excpet maybe to be different seeing youre in Canada... Anyways, I've always liked to look of a 2gb Talon with 2ga skirts, as seen here:

Or, with 2gb eclipses skirts:

But if you really want that extra flash, I'm a fan of the Blitz lows, like Mar said.

Good luck with whatever choice you make:thumb:

Hey thanks for the replies. The reason I did the conversion was simply because when I bought the car, the body parts weren't in the best condition, and instead of going after market, I went stock mitsu. No one has an eclipse where I live, theres a couple Talons, so I thought I'd try and stand out. Thanks for the input guys, Keep the ideas flowing.

Your best bet would probably be to check EBAY or classifieds on here to find some stock ones if you were wanting. But I give +1 to the yellow eclipse a couple post up. I think it looks very good with the stock front bumper and the aftermarket rear but am sure it will look just as good with the stock rear. Good luck. Oh also I just remembered I may have a pair of stockers laying around but PM me if you are interested.

hey i also wanted to do the 97 99 conversion anyone in cali have all the set for sale i live 40 min from palmdale 2 hrs from L.A, and if you have the stock wing and headlights that would be great, be resonable on price please think about gas prices:D

I found a factory set that I bought 2 weeks ago on ebay. 6pc complete for $200 shipped in excellent condition, so try there or craigslist...

I'm not sure if the aftermarket kits come with lower door moldings, most of the one's I initially looked at (before deciding on the OEM) didn't.

For those of you that DO have side skirts, what kind of fasteners are on the lower? Machine screws? Self-tapping? The sides I see attach with the fender bolts at the wheel well, and plastic push pins...I just need to know what's used on the bottom.
