so i have a 96 rs and have been coverting to 2gb well i got my side skirts in today off of a 99 gsx. i didnt know the clips and the holes were different so im wondering how you other guys that have done the conversion got this accomplished? it sucks for me because i just got the whole body painted and cleared yesterday and when i got my skirts in i ran into this problem. any advise?

Do you mean different from a 2ga to a 2gb? I also have a 96 RS and when I did it I made a template and then taped it to the car and drilled the holes. It was kinda a pita but worked.

I also just got an OEM wing from nissan for my 09 altima. They use 1' long strips that are 1/2" wide.
In the middle they have a hole and some mildly sticky tape around the hole.
So you tape the strip to the wing (hole lined up with the bolt hole on the wing).
Then place the wing on the car and get it placed right.
Then take masking tape and tape the ends of the strips down and remove the wing ( that's when the mildly sticky tape is key for it to be removed from the wing easily) and bam you have the perfect places for the holes!!

So you are going to have to refill holes right? I just saw your bumper ad and if that silver car is yours you have 2ga side skirts already on it then right?

Just wondering since my RS had no skirts at all so I drilled new holes. If you have to fill some welding would be the best, but I know you already painted the car but you would not see this once the skirts are on.

my car had west wing side skirts on them when i bought it and they were mostly taped on besides the screws on the bottom of the rocker and the rear cap. i wanted the gsx skirts but it look like i will have to stick with the ones i have. its to much work to put the 2gb's on. im debating on going no side skirts or doing the ones in that picture.
