Shouldn't I be running faster than this?

i would definately hae to say its ur turbo and your lack of fuel management. I got a 19C junior frank on my car, yet my 550's and afc2 aint in yet, so i bog like hell. Ive had many experienced dsm tuners tell me i should be like 300 fwhp once i get my fuel setup in. plus i got a buddy who just installed his dsm link. its AMAZING how much better and faster his car runs with that link and injectors in. He was runnin just a pump and a 20G and other basic backup mods, including a FMIC.

Get yer fuel and turbo setup and come back and see if u still got a problem.

Sometimes, the car just doen't want to be at the track that day IMO. I just got through running a 14.7 @ 96 mph 2.3 60' time w/ my 14b. Before that, the car was running really good, but that day it was sick and not up to the challenge. Track numbers aren't all that anyway if you race 99% off the track (which you really shouldn't). But fyi w/ a mbc, and everything stock I trapped at 97mph and did a 14.9 w/ 2.6 60' on my t-25 when I first got it. So I would say check everything out, and make sure no parts are dying.

don't feel so bad...I have a big16g and 24x10x3 Spearco Core and only ran a 14.9...bad day for me too. But there was stuff wrong with the car and air temps that day were 100+ so yeh...not a good day for racing.

I ran 14.7 with a small 16G the first week it was on the car. Man was I disappointed. Just needed more time to tune the car. I will back up that fuel control is a major issue with your car. My car also became much slower when I put the 255 in. Anyhow at my cars current state it has the T25 on it which has about 110,000 miles on it. Two weeks ago I ran a best of 14.186 at 99mph with a 2.1 60ft. My car is also an automatic and on street tires.

I don't think anything is wrong with the car. I think you are having too little back pressure with that set up for a little T-25, lack of tuning equipment is also a factor. another is the fact it's FWD, we are not fortunate like the GSXs are in this aspect. After you get some tuning equipment in and finely tuned, it' really only how to handle the traction(or lack thereof). you may want to look to radials, or a lsd(lsds I hear cause you to lose some streetabilty) I was running 14.7 stock and running the same after I my exhaust intake and a few others.....I've yet to run on the setup i have now). But if you are jumping up to a not so modest 20G(hopefully at td06) you should at least have:

larger injectors(at least 660)
dsm link, or a safc/logger combo
EGT gauge
frount mount intercooler, or at least an upgrade sidemount, no point in having that kind of potential with a intercooler that can't cool the inlet temps enough.

The Answer is Yes you should be running faster here's what I ran with the t-25 and I have a 1997 GS-T
60' -2.2
1/4th - 14.093
mph - 99.90
my best 8th time was
60' - 2.0
1/8th - 9.0
mph - 79.10
My mods where
MBC-15psi
3 inch Thermal Cat back
custom upper intercooler piping
TurboX's type H blow off valve
Apexi AFC
Dejon tool half pipe intake with injen filter
magnecore 8.5 wires
it's mainly not all about mod's it's also the driver a good driver with good mod's = good times~!
But good luck in the future !
