Should i trade turbos???

I know a kid that is willing to trade me a t3/t4 hybrid turbo for my big16g turbo good deal or no let me know my turbo is used and his is fairly new just wanted some input???

i want to get 300-350whp out of my 91 fwd talon tsi i have 550cc injectors on the way and a datalogger arriving monday??

let me know???

and if i should get it whats a good bov and wastegate size????

You're going to need a big fmic, at least the 2g mass and something larger than 550s to support that turbo. As long as you understand you might be slower for now until then it's a good trade.

will 660cc injectors be okay???

and what size waste gate should i use?

Which turbo is this? bolt on? intenal or external? At least the 660, I'm going with 720s with my new t04b h3. Youll also need safc to tune but I'm sure you got that covered.

If you give us the specs of his turbo then we can help you better. If it's a straight T3/T4 then it won't bolt right on and you'll need a manifold, wastegate, and o2 housing to use it minimum. That would be a bad trade. The Big 16g can do 300 whp no problem if you have a fmic, 550's, safc, logger, fuel pump, mbc, boost gauge, intake, and exhaust.

i dont have full specs on it yet b/c the kid was at work when i talked to him im callin him tomorrow will have more info then all i know its a t3/t4 hybrid.......

"When something sounds too good to be true it usually is". There must be a reason why he doesn't want the turbo anymore, find out and tell us what he said. Make sure you get some kind of assurance from him, turbo is one of few things I would not buy used. Just be carefull.
