Alight my cars a 1990 Eagle Talon 2.0 NT Mods/Pics in profile. Theres a guy here in town interested in trading, hes got a 1991 Plymouth Laser 2.0 FWD Turbo. My cars pretty much in great shape, just need to get the tranny worked out before the deal is made. His car has a few minor problems, he says the turbo's bearings are bad and the turbo's running 70%, the passenger side fender is pretty buckled, no stereo system, and thinks its missing a little on one cylinder. His car has 11x.xxx miles and mine has 41,000. Should I or shouldnt I? His T-Belt was recently just done with a few other minor things. The cars in decent shape with a little paint fade. My plan was to sell my car very soon after I get my tranny fixed. THe plan was to get ahold of a 1g awd shell and drop a jdm into it. Tuners should I jump on this or wait?

I dont have any tac money coming in so all my money's gonna be coming from just selling my car. Im gonna put a FS sign on it soon, $2500 so i can get ahold of a awd parts car and drop a JDM into it. Thanks all for telling me what was already in the back of my brain screaming NOOOOOO Dont do it!
) I wanted another turbo car so bad. I was about to trade for an awd talon that needed "some work" here come to find out it need a whole new tranny,motor,exhaust... But I didnt care I just wanted to have another fast car. Then I held off and looked around and I found my 90gsx for only 700bucks. Needed some minor stuff and a computer which i got for 150. I would say if you wait longer and just look around I bet you will find something and look back and say man i'm so glad I didnt do that trade. Also, Watch it with those jdm motors dont they come used? Just think about it, That car could have been beat to death before they took the engine out

this SOB is faster than heck!!! He even let me drive it wow pulls like a SOB. As for body damage it needs 2 new front fenders there dented pretty good. The paint is faded on th rear hatch and theres a small crack in the rear bumper. ( got a spare parts car with all these good panels but in a different color. Most of the glass was previously knocked out and replaced but I couldn't tell, just heard the ratteling glass in the doors. The miss he was referring to came out to be some very crappy no name plug wires not connecting properly to the coil pack, they arent tight and slip off very easily. So new wires will fix that. The 14b pulls strong, but makes a little noise sometimes, the clutch pedal is stiff as hell, compared to my 2.0 nt. car needs a stereo system no speakers in it either. However I didnt get to run a compression test on it so maybe I'll get around to it next week. The front end shakes a little at high speeds, and the front suspension is very worn. When the car takes off its like an airplane taking off, and sways back and forth, kinda hard to keep under control. He was beating on the poor car pretty hard. As for his clutch it doesnt seem to grip like mine does, mines grips awesome and I cant feel it as well in his As for mods its has a hacked air can and a raven muffler on stock exhaust which sounds very nice.
