Car is 1990 Eagle Talon TSI Awd. 85k miles.
I'm having a full timing belt service done on it tomorrow as well as the water pump, and it just crossed my mind, do I need to do the oil pump too? It's a little too late to call the shop and have them squeeze it in, but realistically what are the chances of it failing?
Car is completely bone stock, Oil has been changed every 2500 miles for the entirety of the car's life, 5w-30 but I'm changing it to 10w-30 because its getting warmer out and thicker oil is better.
How much am I looked to have this done, and should I worry about it? I'm slightly paranoid haha
One more thing, I don't plan on modifying it, just keeping it stock. The car has been taken care of its whole life but has sat for about 5 years, hence why I'm having the timing belt and balance shaft belt done with the water pump.
