shocks

ok so my front left shock is going out, and i'm debatin about buy a new stock pair ( around $220 a pair from dealership), or if i should buy something else.. i've read about a couple different Koni, Tokiko, Illuminas, AGX.. and really i'm just not sure.. i'm not really lookin to lower it a whole lot, and i want something thats gonna ride nice and NOT stiff! not sure what to do though, any ideas?

The OE shocks were manufactured by KYB. Get a set of KYB OE replacements from your local parts store, (vs. Satan) and save a buck.

some where i read something about gas shocks giving out a lot sooner, is that correct?
