Are there any options for an aftermarket shifter for a 2g other than the Megan one and the overly priced used B&M options?
The threads to my shifter are stripped and my knob wobbles all over the place. :(

Pick up a B&M clone off ebay. I've had one for years and it has worked flawlessly. If I remember correctly I had to file one edge of the pink/blue block down a tad to get it to fit perfect, but otherwise it was a painless install.

edit: just jumped on ebay, do they not sell those anymore? I couldn't find any like the style I bought on there...hmm.

What do you search tho?

No! :rolleyes:Just the knob for a cheap fix :p

In case you missed my point, my shifter is stripped...not my knob.

Yeah, I get that. If it's just the top part that's stripped than those should work. They don't thread on, they clamp on with those three screws. Work pretty good to, I picked one up for my Camaro for a quick fix till I could get my b&m quicksilver.

Fidanza and HKS make them (just sold my old HKS on here) I cut up stockers and mod em now, cheaper and i can tailor it just for me.. could always get the type knob above or do some repair work if you have and are handy with metal working tools

Are either of these two still in production?
The fidanza might be, but what about the HKS one?
