Shifter broke off from bracket

Just driving along and the shifter started to feel really lose and wobbly. So I head home and when i go from 3rd to 4th it came off. Turns out that the weld on the bracket, where the bolt go's through to hold the shifter broke. so i took out the bolt and nut and put it through the shifter from the opposite way. question being, can i just purchase a new bolt and washers and use that with the nut to hold it in place or does it have to be welded? Thanks

ok turns out the piece that broke is the pivot pin. is there a way i can replace the assembly around the pivot pin along with the pivot pin itself?

Go over to Rancho and get another one from M&S.

hey sorry to bring up a really old thread but I have no clue where to get a replacement pivot pin any help? I get mine back together but it if the couple of threads holding it back on will hold for long
