Hey guys, i really need some help. i have a bearing issue with my transmission that needs a rebuild, so i figured while i do it i might as well get a shepherd stage 2:thumb:

now, my question is, since i have a 96 GSX, will i be able to do a 6 bolt swap in the future, and keep my 2K tranny? i know the flywheel on the 6 bolt is different, i thought i remembered seeing my clutch for specifically 95-99, which hints to me a differentiation in the clutch design(i have an ACT 2100).

thanks sooo much for your time guys, i plan on getting the Shep tranny by the middle of the month!!

Yea, you would keep the TRE trans if you did a 6bolt swap.

You are correct about the flywheel - you would need a 6bolt one but the clutch
is the same for a 1gT and 2gT

so the transmission would require no change or modification?

thanks just dont wanna have to worry about it
