Shep or TRE trans? First hand info only please

I was looking into TRE stage 2 or shep stage 2 or 3. Must support around 400+whp. And has anyone changed the final drive on their dsm's or is it not worth the cost? Same with transfer case upgrades? I have seen them for the evo but not ours.

Both are good companys cant go wrong with either. Call them both up, ask them what you need and make you own opinion. Or you can search through the 1000 threads on this same topic.

I love my AWD stage 2 TRE tranny. It grabs awesome. The only thing is that after 1300 miles, it still continues to shift a bit knotchy.

Jon @ TRE is THE MAN!! The rally car has one, my Twincharged talon uses one, I've never had a problem with anything he's done for us. Plus once you're talking to him, he is supper knowlegable about what works and what doesn't. I've got almost 100,000 miles on one box, no grinds, no noise. We'll put it to the tetst with the new engine
