I know there has one already been created by a fellow memeber here but, I live in Fargo,Nd in case some of you people do not know StraightLine Specialties one the best DSM custom fabrication shops in also located here in fargo. I was just wondering if there was any demand for a sheetmetal intake manifold, I am very interested in getting one made because his work is second to none and he sells them relatively inexpensive for the honda's...($695)
Straight Line Specialties
so if people are interested on this subject please post up i want to show him that there is a reasonable demand for production.
Also possibly a exhaust manifold...i know he has a 420a flange setup ready to be machined.
thanks guys!!!:thumb:

That intake looks great. The only problem is the price. I don't doubt its worth the money. However we don't own n/a's because we have money poring out of our pockets hehe. I personally would be willing to pay 400-500 for a custom intake. That is after i see a dyno sheet before and after.

The only problem is the price.

...and that's exactly why most manufacturers are reluctant to produce quality performance parts for us. That mentality hurts the community.

Like you said, you might be willing to spend that amount on a quality piece, but most others wouldn't be.

yeah i understand that is alot of money, and lots of people arent willing to spend that much on an intake manifold, i just thought that there were people out there that would spend a little money on that.

I dont think money should ever be an issue ...of you cant afford it now just save up for a couple more months...

I think that is a reasonable price for in IM i would pay that much for one.

You would say that, you have bottomless pockets.

I'm excited about the recent activity surrounding IM's in the 2gnt community. Paul, it's time to get productive! :p
