shaft play rebuild ?

I have a turbochargers.com evo3 with about 1/2-3/4mm of side to side shaft play and about 1/8-1/4 mm of in and out. Is this to much? The turbo hasn't been in a car for about a year though and i know that the shaft play won't be as bad when oil is running through it.

If i have to rebuild it can i use a 20g wheel like i could if it was a mhi evo3?

To be honest you should go ahead and rebuild it. If you don't its just going to get worse and instead of rebuilding it you will be replacing it if the wheels happens to touch the housing any. While its out rebuild it

Yea I checked and it seems everything is almost in spec for a 16g with no oil in it. .004 is the amount of acceptable in and out shaft play and 1mm is ok for side to side and I'm within both of those.
