severe boost "lag"/creep - weird logger readings

I would still take a look at your coolant temp sensor. I had this problem about a year ago. Check the coolant temp after the car is warmed up with the logger, not the gauge on the dash. They are 2 different sensors, both located on the thermostat housing. If the guage is dead, normally you will get a reading of -40 degrees. A dead sensor will leave the ECU in limp mode assuming the car is still cold. This will cause all kinds of weird problems. When/if you order the coolant temp sensor, make sure you tell the dealer you want the sensor for the ECU not the gauge. I think mine was about $26.
