1. Can you use an o2 dump for both internal and external wastegate's?
2. If you would have an o2 dump with just a short pipe or no pipe coming out into the engine bay does heatsoak become an issue? I've heard it both ways.
3. Does anyone have a video of an o2 dump running low boost?
4. Dumping in front of the car have an danger issues i.e. carbon dioxide (monoxide?) problems. I don't want to die ha.
5. Anyone have any good pics of o2 dump setups?
6. What exactly are all the benefits? Any in the performance area?
7. Anyone who has any bumper routed o2 dumps have any tips on keeping your bumper from getting all carbon'd up and looking nasty?

I don't have smog testing or any problems with cops where I live so I'm not worried about that aspect. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!

1 yes
2 it will blow hot air everywhere and most likely melt things.
3 YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
4 just point it downward or out the bumper.
5 DEJON | Powerhouse go to exhaust and look at that.
6 almost always eliminates boostcreep, and sounds amazing imho
7 Jay Racing

hope that helps.

Thanks man!! I was looking through a thread you had made a while back about this topic earlier today and that helped quite a bit too. Thanks again!

All I have to add is, with the 3" Buschur turboback and Buschur o2 dump on my car it would still creep. The first thing I put on was the o2 dump. I then had boost set at 15psi. Then I put the exhaust on and boost went up to 24psi. The o2 dump didn't help my car at all. If I ported the turbo I would have eliminated boost creep though. Because of this I couldn't go wot.

If you run an o2 dump with a internal wastegate it kinda sounds like running open header on a normal 4banger like a honda or similar. External wastegate dumps sounds much better and not as nasty sounding as internal. But there are people out there that like the way an internal dump sounds but it wasnt for me the 3 weeks i had it on mine.

I am personally running an agp l2r internal gate bb turbo. I took out the flapper, and went with the punishment racing o2 housing with a 38mm tial wastegate, dumping out below my motor. It holds boost as low as 6psi to redline with no creep. I also have no problem boosting 30+psi. If you use an external wastegate off of the o2 housing, it sounds much better then using the internal gate when dumping. My wastegate sounds identical to a friend of mine's which runs a 38mm tial off of his exhaust manifold. Hope this helps!
