Ok so heres wats going on. I have a 94 Eagle Talon with a 1.8 in it. its auto. i bought it and it just turned over for a looong time then after having to recharge the battery it started and turned off. after the fourth time it stayed on. i drove it for a week and the engine seal from the tranny went out so i pulled the engine out and replaced the seal. along with it i bought the head gasket set and oil pan gasket and everything was alright. i had another head so i bolted it on there due to way less miles on the head. i put the car on timing and everything but it turned over again and did not start after draining the battery like 4 times. so i get the original head that was first on there and i took it to be reconstructed. i bought another head gasket(just the head gasket) and bolt in the reconstructed head in. hooked everything up and it still just turns over and wount start. i has new spark plugs. the gas goes through and the plugs fire. i tried changing the computer and nothing. i also changed that sensor that hooks up to the air filter and also nothing. everything seems to be good but it just wount start.it only turns over. Now am positive the timing is right but if you have pics or something on where the timing marks are EXACLY that would be good. I also tried moving the distributor left and right and nothing. Thank you for your help.

First off, you didnt say if you push the gas in when you crank the motor. If you push it in and it starts then it probably is an ISC issue. Lets assume its not. Spray some started fluid into the manifold and crank it. If it starts with starter fluid but doesnt without it, you most likely are loosing fuel pressure somewhere between the pump and the injectors (fluid will still flow but insufficient amount). Im assuming the CEL is on? How was the car driving while you had it running? Check the fuel filter, make sure all the fuel lines are not leaking. Have someone crank the car and stand outside and feel the exhaust gasses. If its spitting straight up air/fuel mixture, you timing is way off, or your firing orders are messed up.

Also i read in your signature that you swapped a 2.0 into ## Gs? If you did did you hook up the ECU harness correctly? Tell us what mods are exactly done to the car. Im assuming you cannot pull codes.

i put my feet in the gas and nothen. i spray starting fluid and nothing. my signature was something else. i bought an eclipse with a 1.8 5 speed and swapped a 2.0 in with ecu and harness and made that sucker run LOL. but this is an automatic 1.8 Talon. the car was running good. no problems at all. it started right up. like i said before when i got it it took various tries for it to crank but it did. now all it does is turn over and over and over.

Maybe it's an issue with the plugs, wires, or coil. Turning over and over sounds like you're not getting a spark. That sounded like a pretty obvious explanation though, so maybe I'm not understanding completely.

did you ever get it started? i would check spark and fuel first. do you hava a distributor? if so, open it up and see whats going on in there, if you dont have a distributor then i would check the igniter. pull a couple of plugs and see what they look like, are they soaked in fuel? i so they are probably not firing. blow out the plug holes and clean up the plugs. also, i am not framilliar with the 1.8 but cam/crank sensors coud be at fault.
