Sensors that keep the motor from starting

Is there a sensor that will keep our motors from starting? My motor was working fine 2-3 weeks ago. I sprayed some contact cleaner on the electrical components (i.e. alternator contacts, oil pressure sensor (some other sensors on the oil filter housing), CAS (green top), and I believe that was it and now it won't start. I change the plugs and wires today, cleaned more plug contacts and the motor just turns. Every so often it will backfire quietly, but for the most part it just turns. Any ideas?

Did you make sure your engine is getting spark?
did you check to see if your injectors are supplying fuel?

CAS's are reported to have not reacted well after getting doused. It's a good lead but it's also just contact cleaner. You're sure everything is hooked up and nothing got loose or disconnected?
