I have a 98 GS-T with 22K original miles on the car. I have been the only owner since it was new. The car has never seen rain or snow and looks brand new inside and out. I replaced the 7 bolt motor with a 6 to start the mod frenzy. I hate to say it but I've grown out of the car and have other hobbies that interest me. I have a laundry list of items that have been done to the car, most can be seen on my profile. I just wanted to know what I can expect price wise to get out of it. The car runs great, pulls hard, and will prob. run 12's all day long. Like I said I'm growing out of the sport, car, and want to get rid of the car because I don't drive it.

Give me some idea what its worth. No wise arse comments like give it to me or $1. Thanks guys!

I would say go to kbb.com and they will give you a suggested price, that should give you a place to start. Because there are obvious other factors like mods and what not to be taken into consideration. If it helps there was a 98 talon tsi awd for sale on auto trader that had 11K miles on it with all the stage one mods he was asking $16,000 for his. Hope this helps.

What to expect:
1) You're going to lose a lot of the money and all of the time and you invested into building this car.
2) You'll probably regret selling it later.

Hopefully not #2 so much!

Personally, I might pay $9K for it, but I'm also a cheap bastard.

Good luck on selling it.

I have almost $18K in mods and in labor. The car is worth 8K without all the mods. I had a buddy buy an RX-7 modded out for $20K in Cali over e-bay. Clean car, very clean, but not as clean as mine. Does anyone doubt 17-20K?

No chance you would see 20K unless you find a real sucker. The only reason the RX7 cost that much is because it is such a rare find and you don't see them every single day. A DSM on the other hand, you can find on almost every car lot. Yes, it has low miles which is a big plus, but you are not looking anywhere near the 18-20K range.

Well in that case I will just keep it. No point in losing my arse off on something I have so much money into. To bad the car won't get much use, esp. for the condition its in. Thanks guys.

Throw it in the paper for 19k. Youll lose 10 bucks for a listing, whoopty do. You never know til you throw it out. You dont HAVE to sell it, just take some offers.

As you have found yourself you might be better off holding onto it. I sold my GSX for $11,000 and it only had 27,000 miles on it. Most mods were less than 8000 miles old. Either way good luck with your choice.
