Does anyone have a picture of their car with Seibon carbon fiber evo hood on it. I could not manage to find any pictures.

Also does anyone know a company that makes a carbon fiber roof? Don't think there is, but just curious.

The roof is a structural part of the car so its part of the body. You could do a CF overlay but unless you gut the car, install a rool cage, and strictly race the car, its not smart to to remove the roof in place of a CF one. plus CF doesn't bend it shattters so don't want to get that in your eyes or skin. They make CF rear hatch's and sunroofs deletes, doors, fenders, hoods.

Theres no problem with asking its just that the DSM is a old platform with a small market. It just not something your going to see made by a major composite manufacturer. And like I stated the roof is a structural part of the body and you just can't cut it out. Completly different stress points and load factors than an evo or Subie 4dr, even then I haven't seen one without a full cage in it. If you ever watch any of the automotive shows on TV they weld structural supports in the body anytime they cut the roof or major body panels. Thats so the rest of the body doesn't twist or distort under the weight of just the shell. If you want something that doesn't rust use Aluminum or do the overlay. Heres a site thats got a lot of info on composites and stuff that guys have done to there cars.
