What would i need to fully change out my whole second gear and what would the price be on parts?

Rebuild the whole thing or GTFO.
If second gear is chunky, what's the rest of your transmission been chewing on? Manual transmissions don't have a filter.
Whoever does it isn't doing the job while the transmission is in the car. The amount of work you have to go through to get them the gearbox-just isn't worth having to repeat because you overlooked something else. Especially if you're paying someone for that. You have to crack the case to do it and it's like pulling the pin on a hand grenade. One gear doesn't come out without removing the others. Might as well do all of it if you've gone that far.
