Niagara,
I need a hand with installing my fog lights. Electrical has never been my best attribute so I'm just looking for a couple pointers or maybe a step by step explanation to ensure I dont screw this up.
Heres my story...I recently bought a set of 97-99 fog lights, they have brackets, and theres some of the wires left. I basically need to know what to do after I splice the remaining wires. My plans are to run this off an independent switch than that of my headlights/dash lights. I think I know the basics of how to do this, but again, I would just like confirmation, or perhaps a step by step guide. If anyone has done this before, or can refer me to a page I may have missed, that would be great. Thanks guys :thumb:

didn't 97 eagle talon come with fog lights and their own switch? I know 95 eagle talon came with their own fog lights and switch. i believe the wire could be used for 97-99 fog light as well [Not 100% but i think it could work].

My car didnt come with fog lights, so it's making it alittle harder to install them. Thanks for the tips, I should have mentioned that my car didnt have fogs.

I am having this same problem with my 95 Talon, it didnt have the stock fog option and I dont know how to get them wired up.

Hopefully someone will step forward and put up a link or help out in any way. I'm looking to get mine installed before I put it away for the winter. I'm still searching, but I can't find what I'm looking for.

I tried this with my 95. If the car didnt come with them from the factory, the wire harness is there for the switch and the lights but no connections are at the fuse box for the relay. I found that the harness for the switch runs along the main harness under the dash and then just ends. You would need to trace those wires to the end (by taking the main harness apart) as well as trace the harness for the lights that also just ends and run wires to complete the circuits. Its a real pain in the ass so I wired mine into the tail light circuit.
