Hey guys, im in need of some advice. I recently got it into my head to paint parts of my interior door panels. So i taped it off, used plastic primer and then applied the top coat.....
Only my paint job looks like crap reguardless. The tape must not of been on well enough (first time doing this kinda thing) and i ended up with parts sticking out a bit to far here and there.
My question is this, how would you go about cleaning up the lines? i tried paint thinner with q tips...the results were less than stellar.....i think it actually ate through the top layer of the plastic because now i have a light grey area on the pannel....
So can this be cleaned up, or should i just look for another set of door panels? And anybody know where to get the nicer door panels like the ones in a GS anyways, mine are just the crappy one piece plastic ones.
As always any advice is apreciated, thanks.
