First let me start by saying that I rarely post on here unless I can't find the answer by searching first. I think I have an electrical problem somewhere. First the alternator went out so I replaced. Two weeks later it went out again. I had the battery tested and it was bad so I replaced it. Car would not start after that so I took the starter off and had it checked and it was bad also so I replaced it. Car did fine for two days then I hear some static in the radio all of a sudden. I get home and get ready to leave, push my clutch in and it won't start, try again and it starts. I try again and it starts. Try again and the starter gets hung and won't go off. The motor keeps spinning with the key out and the ignition off. It starts to smell like its burning so the only way I can get it off is disconnect the battery. I would like to fix this before anything else tears up. Please help me because I love my car and am fed up with it at the same time. I have had nothing but problems since I bought it a year ago. My car is a stock 2g GST FWD manual trans. The only mods I have are 1g throttle body and BOV, Buschur UICP NGK iridium plugs and 9.3mm APC wires with bosch coil and injen hard intake pipe w/ K and N cone filter. thanks

Did you add anything electrical to the car?
When was the last time you "worked" or did to the car? What was it

I have not done anything electrical to the car. The last time I did anything to the car was an alternator battery and starter. I all happened about the same time. Two days ago I put another starter on and it worked for two days. Got under the car and checked all connections with it and the solenoid end where the wires are was really loose like it had pulled away from the solenoid housing. Could it be crappy parts from Advance Auto? Thanks for looking and replying.
