About to wire me up a sub and amp in the mazda.

As much as i like to listen to music with a sub, I am selling my sub and will upgrade my stereo speakers to be amplified to produce more sound and better sound quality and with it will come some extra oomf with the better speakers somewhat eliminating the need for a sub

think 4 speakers with 250 watts each...... lots of power there....
