He should come and work at this damn freezer I work at they hire 30 people today and bet most of them are going to quit who knows even me, I'm gonna hold on to it for now until my girl gets a job she said when she get a job I could stay home with my daughter for a while until I get a day time shift, and yeah right now I'm on training which is in firs shift but after 2 weeks I go overnight from 4: pm to 4:am mandatory 12 hour shift in a freezer 20 below 0.

I had a buddy that did that kind of freezer work for a while..He said he just got stoned as hell and didn't notice the cold. Plues wearing long sleeve and long underwear, with a hoodie sweatpants and a columbia jacket...

Ohh and 12's aren't that bad unless you have to do them 7 days a week, 13 days in a row with two days off after that..Trust me there not that bad. when we got out of 7 days a week 13 in a row. we did five 12's..That wasn't soo bad...But the grand a week was nice!!!!!!!!!:thumb:

Yeah thats the only thing pushing me to work there the money is quite good, what am going to be doing in the freezer is order selecting on a power pallet jack so hopefully by keeping my self moving I can keep myself worm.Plus good nite am gonna go to sleep now later everyone>

^ Agreed. I used to drive E-pallet jacks in a freezer for work, but I quit today so much for that:D
cano86- moving in a freezer actually makes you colder because of the air blowing on yer face

But if your working hard enough all day you won't freeze. Just don't work too hard and sweat, ### when you slow down and chill,,,your gonna be froooozzzeeeennnnn

knows i used to work at schlotzskys and had to chill in the freezer with all of my free time just to cool off ### the ovens were hot as f*** just be glad you have a job where you can budle up to stay warm
having a job where its hot sucks because cooling your self off is harder:dsm:

Knows nebraska is not even close to the humidity in Wisconsin. I stopped In York Nebraska on my way back home, and started sweating immeadiatly...Then we got back to the W, and started sweating balls. Right now it's 49 degrees and like 91% humidity..It's a nice day out you don't even notice the humidity on cold says. On very cold days you will, specially if your a smoker..You walk outside and take a breath and the water vapor wants to freeze your lungs instantly...Before I switched to menthol, I would smoke menthol in the winter, to help cope with the freezing of my lungs...

I know I figured that out today while I was running around the damn freezer with that pallet jack my face was frozen like a Mother F**cker Hope I get use to it. but is mad money weekly. First 12 hours overtime are time and half, and after 12 hours is double time so I'll be taking home weekly around $1200-$1500 dollars. So hell yeah I'll handle cold weather for a while.
